Marcus Costello (Set and Lighting Design)

Marcus has a degree in Theatre Studies from Trinity College, Dublin and a white Transit van. Most recently, Marcus designed Winter Came Down, for Quarehawks and Seamus Moran’s one man show St. Oscar for Tall Tales, and was production manager for Yew Tree’s Playboy of the Western World.

In 2003 Marcus was Production Manager for Stolen Child and he designed Mixing It On The Mountain at the Samuel Beckett Centre for Calypso Productions. And for Big Telly, he was Production Manager and Lighting Designer for Playboy of the Western World at the Millenium Forum, Derry and on tour.

With Quare Hawks, Marcus was also Production Designer for Leaving, Cracked and The Undertaking .Other work includes the set and costume design for Michael Bodanov’s Artaud in Ireland, Fool for Love and Nobody’s Child for Brass Tacks and No Place Like Home for Tinderbox. And as Lighting Designer for Liam Halligan’s Anna Christie, Strokehaulin for Barabbas…the company and Venus and Adonis for Theatreworks.
